TOKYO: MEGURO
My photography through Meguro focused on the quiet spaces in-between: beneath railway arches, along narrow streets where lantern light slipped into shadow, and inside small interiors shaped by time. I was drawn to subtle contrasts: concrete softened by handwritten signs, a solitary bicycle passing through filtered light, moments of whimsy tucked into everyday scenes. Over several years Meguro gradually revealed itself, offering a slower rhythm where beauty emerges through texture, restraint, and the quiet poetry of ordinary and sometimes, quirky, Tokyo life.
