Tokyo was stillness inside motion-neon brilliance balanced by temple hush. I photographed Tokyo through contrasts: the soft glow of lanterns against modern glass, trains humming as cherry blossoms fell, the quiet reflection in water bowls outside shrines. My lens leaned into the elegance of detail-small gestures, small lights-leaving a lasting impression long after I returned home.
