Welcome to The Edit—a collection of personal essays, observations, and photography about life as it is: beautiful, complicated, funny, occasionally messy, and always changing.
Each entry is an Edit, a closer look at something worth noticing. Friendship and family. Travel and home. Growing older and knowing ourselves better. The things we carry, the things we let go, and the small pleasures that make an ordinary day feel like something more.
Some Edits ask questions. Some tell stories. Others simply stop long enough to notice something I don't want to forget.
These stories may begin with me, but so much of what we feel, question, carry, and celebrate is shared. I hope you'll find something here that speaks to you, too.
THE EDIT
Edit 43:Reflection
The strange thing about this season is how the joy and the grief seem to sit side by side without canceling each other out. Somehow, all of it belongs.
Edit 42: The Graduate
There are seasons of motherhood you recognize immediately while they are happening. And then there are the ones that only reveal themselves in tender, indelible fragments.
Edit 34:The April Edit
March was not for the faint of heart. A traveling husband, a recruitment season mid-transition, a senior's final curtain call, and a Twice concert on zero sleep—this is the Edit that closes one month and opens another, one revision at a time.
