Welcome to The Edit—a collection of personal essays, observations, and photography about life as it is: beautiful, complicated, funny, occasionally messy, and always changing.
Each entry is an Edit, a closer look at something worth noticing. Friendship and family. Travel and home. Growing older and knowing ourselves better. The things we carry, the things we let go, and the small pleasures that make an ordinary day feel like something more.
Some Edits ask questions. Some tell stories. Others simply stop long enough to notice something I don't want to forget.
These stories may begin with me, but so much of what we feel, question, carry, and celebrate is shared. I hope you'll find something here that speaks to you, too.

Edit 61: Seasons of Change
Thoughts on a Saturday about a southern fall and life’s changing seasons.
Edit 00: Welcome to Life, Edited
Thirty-six Edits in and I'm just now introducing myself. Fashionably late—but then again, I'm a woman who considers five minutes early to be running late. And somehow, this feels exactly on time. This is where Life, Edited began.
