Welcome to The Edit—a collection of personal essays, observations, and photography about life as it is: beautiful, complicated, funny, occasionally messy, and always changing.
Each entry is an Edit, a closer look at something worth noticing. Friendship and family. Travel and home. Growing older and knowing ourselves better. The things we carry, the things we let go, and the small pleasures that make an ordinary day feel like something more.
Some Edits ask questions. Some tell stories. Others simply stop long enough to notice something I don't want to forget.
These stories may begin with me, but so much of what we feel, question, carry, and celebrate is shared. I hope you'll find something here that speaks to you, too.
THE EDIT
Edit 33:Michelin March
A deliberate month of dining at Charlotte's Michelin-recognized restaurants—three tables, three evenings, one city equity becoming something we should all paying attention to.
